RICS - Inspire the Next Generation
Blane, Managing Director and Founder of Pride IMS, faced his toughest gig to date!
A local primary school asked Blane to come in to represent the Surveying profession, and RICS, to introduce 5 year old students to a career in the industry.
With lots of giggling and enjoyment from wearing PPE, the children were fantastic and thoroughly engaged throughout their ‘hands-on’ surveying task – some are already showing better skills than some surveyors we have worked with!...... 😂
The future of surveying is in safe hands but it is vital that we continue to promote it to the younger generations so they know that it is a career that they can aspire to do.

We have been shortlisted for Consultancy of the Year and Holly Callan, Associate Director, has been nominated in this years Rising Star category!

Holly joined the Pride Pack in 2021 and has gone from strength to strength, building the South-West region. She has excelled in leaps and bounds, taking the industry by storm and is now one of front running female Independent Monitoring Surveyors in the country.

International Women's Week - Women in Construction
We at Pride are extremely proud of our Team - the Pride Pack - but to celebrate Women In Construction, we put the spotlight on Holly Callan, Associate Director and Abi Palmer-Greenwood, Operations and Risk Manager.
Under 13% of the construction industry is made up of women, and no more than 1% of employees working on-site are women.
We believe that to be in the 1% you have to do what the other 99% won't, Holly is no exception to this and fits into the 'women working on site' category! Just another reason to celebrate her!
Also known as 'The Queen of Compliance'. Abi holds an extremely important role managing risk and compliance here at Pride IMS and is the backbone of quality.
Abi has worked in the construction industry for almost 20 years, some of this with the RICS (our professional regulatory body!).
We created these two short videos where Holly and Abi talk a little bit about their experience and why they love working in this industry so much!
